After a long day in the sun, some friends and I took a boat trip to Dybingen, a small island outside Kristiansand. We sat there talking until the sun went down.

This is from a boat trip with my parents to Malmøya i Viksfjord, Larvik. We had a beautiful day in the sun, relaxing on smooth bare rocks all day.

The water painted me a picture

Bildet ble tatt 1.pinsedag, da jeg var ute på en deilig tur i sola. Det lille vannet gav et kjempe fint speilbilde av naturen rundt. (Jeg har bare snudd det opp ned)

The photo was taken on Pentecost Sunday, while I was out walking in the sun. The water gave me a beautiful reflection of the surroundings. (I have turned it upside down)

Trees

Trees are the kindest things I know,
They do no harm, they simply grow
And spread a shade for sleepy cows,
And gather birds among their bows.

They give us fruit in leaves above,
And wood to make our houses of,
And leaves to burn on Halloween
And in the Spring new buds of green.

They are first when day's begun
To tough the beams of morning sun,
They are the last to hold the light
When evening changes into night.

And when a moon floats on the sky
They hum a drowsy lullaby
Of sleepy children long ago...
Trees are the kindest things I know.
